Parent Support Groups
New Youth Peer Group opening soon!
In response the popularity of our Youth Peer Groups, we are expanding our locations. We’re excited to comence our brand new Redlands Youth Peer Group in term 3, 2026! Register your interest to join the Redlands group here.
Our Parents Groups are run simultaneously with Youth Peer Groups. Parent Groups offer an opportunity to connect with other parents and carers in your area and share experiences, strategies and challenges. While being on the same site, each group has separate rooms. This allows parents to remain responsible for their children whilst providing a more private forum to meet, share their experiences and build a support network.
We periodically invite specialist speakers to present information about services and supports relevant to the group. Parents with a child attending the associated Youth Group are welcome to attend at no additional cost.
What if I don't have a child attending a Youth Group?
If you would like to join a Parents Group, but do not have a child attending the associated Youth Peer Group, you still have a few options!
Parents who do not have a child attending our Youth Group are welcome to attend with a small cost of $15.00 per session to assist with expenses.
We also host an independent Parent Group at Mt Gravatt, lead by parents in our community. This group is a self-help discussion group which meets monthly over coffee, to build connections and chat through challenges.
